Education Staff Credentials

Staff Background: Meds-1 employs only professional EMS providers as our educators- This means that these staff currently provide service in licensed EMS agencies or Healthcare Facilities as Emergency Medical Technicians, Registered Paramedics, Registered Nurses, Physicians, or as other Healthcare Professionals. We are very proud that our five core lead instructors, all pre-hospital professionals, have over 100 combined years of clinical / field EMS experience and an equal number of years providing EMS education.

This experience and background assures you that any program presented to you by Meds-1 is backed by the leadership of highly credible and experienced EMS practitioners. Certification of our entire staff follows national guidelines, where available, and involves strict quality support procedures - from instructor selection through delivery of every program.

Physician Medical Direction: Meds-1 employs a physician EMS medical director to serve as an advisor for all EMS programs. This physician not only serves as a medical director for our advanced level courses, but also is available to advise staff and review other programs as needed. To continue our team approach to EMS education we also have other physician staff of varied backgrounds - from Family Practice to Wilderness Medicine - to support our planning and program delivery.

These associates, combined with support staff who are not only Paramedics - but have diverse backgrounds such as a Trial Lawyer & Licensed Mental Health Professional, bring fresh insight to the ever changing face of emergency medicine.

We also have Dental Professionals, Registered Nurses, a Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner, Respiratory Therapist, and primary Professional Educators aligned with our team to support delivery of our courses.
